    Overview

    Mutts & Mousers provides delivery across Canada for pet gift baskets, dog gifts, cat gifts, custom pet gifts, bakery-made treats, toys, accessories, and related products. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout based on the recipient’s address, selected product, delivery timing, and available service options.

    Same-day delivery is available in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Vancouver Area for eligible gifts. Same-day delivery is not available for every product or every address. If same-day delivery is available for an order, it will appear as an available option at checkout before the order is placed.

    We prepare and coordinate orders based on recipient address, product eligibility, customization details, delivery requirements, service area, routing, and operational capacity. Available delivery information and estimated delivery dates are shown during checkout.

    Order Processing

    Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, order change, delivery update, gift message correction, cancellation, or customization change should contact customer service as early as possible.

    Once preparation, customization, fulfillment, shipping, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible. Same-day, customized, bakery-made, perishable, seasonal, or time-sensitive orders may have limited change or cancellation availability once processing has started.

    Delivery Timing

    Mutts & Mousers offers Canada-wide delivery, with same-day delivery available in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Vancouver Area for eligible gifts. Delivery options are shown at checkout based on the recipient’s address, selected product, customization details, timing, and service availability.

    Delivery dates, delivery windows, same-day availability, shipping times, and transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery times unless expressly confirmed in writing by Mutts & Mousers.

    Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic, weather, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, courier or carrier performance, product preparation requirements, peak-volume periods, and operational capacity.

    Residential deliveries typically occur by end of day. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries typically occur during standard business hours where possible.

    Same-Day Eligible Areas

    Same-day delivery is available for eligible Mutts & Mousers gifts in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Vancouver Area. Eligibility depends on the selected gift, delivery address, customization details, preparation requirements, courier availability, and available options shown at checkout.

    Same-day delivery may not be available for all customized gifts, bakery-made products, perishable products, alcohol add-ons, restricted products, seasonal products, or addresses. If same-day delivery is not available for the selected gift or recipient address, other available delivery options may be shown at checkout.

    Delivery Completion

    Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated or required due to product type, delivery location, alcohol content, age verification, carrier or courier requirements, or applicable delivery rules.

    Orders may be left in a safe location or delivered to a recipient, building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, delivery room, or other building-approved receiving point where appropriate.

    Once proof of delivery has been obtained, or the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, mailroom, concierge, security desk, front desk, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.

    Office, Building, and Managed Property Deliveries

    Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, campuses, gated communities, commercial buildings, and managed properties may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, delivery room, or another building-approved receiving point.

    Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, department, suite or unit number, buzzer code, recipient phone number, building instructions, access details, and any information needed to complete delivery.

    Mutts & Mousers is not responsible for internal building handling, routing, delay, loss, refusal, or recipient pickup after an order has been delivered to an accepted building location or authorized receiving point.

    Incorrect or Incomplete Address Information

    Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time an order is placed.

    • Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before preparation, shipping, fulfillment, or delivery coordination begins.
    • Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be delayed, misdelivered, returned, held, or considered undeliverable.
    • Refunds, replacements, or credits may not be issued for orders affected by address errors, missing suite or unit numbers, incorrect recipient information, missing phone numbers, inaccessible buildings, or incomplete delivery instructions.
    • Additional fees may apply if re-delivery, re-shipping, remaking, or order adjustment is available.

    Service Area Review

    Some addresses within or near the edge of a service area may require additional review before fulfillment proceeds. Delivery availability may depend on product type, recipient address, service area, courier availability, timing, and operational requirements.

    If an address requires additional delivery coordination or fees, customer service may contact the purchaser before fulfillment continues. If delivery cannot be completed to the address provided, the order may be modified, delayed, cancelled, or treated as undeliverable depending on the circumstances.

    Undeliverable Orders

    Orders may be considered undeliverable when delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address information, recipient unavailability, refused delivery, restricted access, failed age verification where applicable, unsafe conditions, business closure, building restrictions, or circumstances outside our control.

    • Refunds may not be issued for undeliverable orders caused by customer or recipient circumstances.
    • Re-delivery or re-shipping may incur additional fees where available.
    • Perishable, bakery-made, fresh, customized, or time-sensitive items may need to be remade and cannot always be recovered, reused, or resold.
    • Incorrect or incomplete address information remains the customer’s responsibility.

    Recipient Unavailability

    If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, the delivery partner may complete delivery according to applicable delivery procedures. Depending on the delivery location, product type, and delivery method, the order may be left in a safe location, delivered to a building-approved receiving point, returned, held, delayed, or require additional coordination.

    Mutts & Mousers is not responsible for product condition changes, failed delivery, delayed delivery, or additional fees caused by recipient unavailability, refusal, restricted access, or incomplete delivery instructions.

    Perishable, Bakery-Made, and Time-Sensitive Products

    Some Mutts & Mousers products may include bakery-made, fresh, perishable, seasonal, temperature-sensitive, or time-sensitive components. These items are selected and prepared with delivery timing and product condition in mind.

    If a perishable or bakery-made component is unavailable, unsuitable for delivery timing, or not appropriate for delivery conditions, it may be replaced with an appropriate alternative at our discretion to protect quality, presentation, pet-appropriateness, and successful delivery.

    Recipients should review and follow any product information, ingredient information, allergen information, care instructions, or storage guidance provided with the order or displayed on the website where applicable.

    Substitutions

    Because some items are seasonal, perishable, bakery-made, specialty, third-party branded, or subject to availability, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

    When substitutions are made, Mutts & Mousers aims to maintain the overall value, theme, intent, pet-appropriateness, and presentation of the order. Substituted items may differ from the product image, description, flavour, brand, colour, size, packaging, or exact contents shown on the website.

    Due to product availability, delivery timing, customization requirements, and order volume, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.

    Alcohol and Regulated Products

    Some products or add-ons may include alcohol or other regulated products where available and permitted by applicable law. Alcohol, where available, is intended only for pet owners or adult recipients and is never intended for pets.

    Delivery of alcohol or regulated products is subject to applicable federal, provincial, local, and other applicable requirements depending on the delivery destination, product type, and delivery method.

    Age verification, adult signature, valid government-issued identification, recipient availability, and additional delivery requirements may apply where required. Failed delivery due to age verification, recipient unavailability, refusal, restricted access, missing identification, or local delivery requirements may not be eligible for refund, replacement, credit, re-delivery, or re-shipping.

    Delivery Partners, Couriers, and Carriers

    Mutts & Mousers may use internal delivery teams, couriers, carriers, shipping providers, fulfillment providers, or other delivery partners to complete orders. Delivery procedures may vary based on service area, product type, delivery method, recipient address, and provider requirements.

    Tracking, delivery confirmation, proof of delivery, courier notes, carrier scans, building acceptance, or other delivery records may be used to determine delivery status and completion.

    External Factors

    Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, traffic, courier or carrier disruptions, labour disruptions, holidays, peak-volume periods, public emergencies, building access restrictions, security procedures, transportation network issues, supplier shortages, technology outages, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

    We are not responsible for refunds, replacements, credits, delays, failed delivery attempts, product condition changes, or non-delivery caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
